Trent discovered Power yoga while he was in college, after hearing about the benefits of the practice for the body, mind, and spirit. Having competed in wrestling for most of his upbringing, yoga provided Trent with a new, more subtle perspective on how to connect with the body through his breath.

After observing the immense personal impact that a yoga practice had on his health, Trent decided to become an instructor in 2017. Trent believes that the physicality a yoga practice creates provides the foundation for an individual to become the most powerful version of themselves.

In addition to being a 200-hour E-RYT, Trent is also certified as a Yoga Sculpt/Group Fitness instructor, Schwinn cycling instructor, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology from the University of Washington.

Outside of instructing, Trent is a martial artist and competes in submission grappling.
